Mrs. Minnie Elizabeth Shanklin Ditamore, 79, lifelong resident of the county, died at her home, 608 E. College St. Born Dec. 28, 1878, at Yountsville, she was the daughtr of John and Elizabeth Grey Shanklin. She was married at Yountsville to Charles A. Ditamore, who preceded her in death in 1950. Mrs. Ditamore was a member of the Yountsville Methodist Church. The survivors include a son, John W. Ditamore, director of the Elliott Hall of Music at Purdue University, and a grandson, John R. Ditamore of Layayette. Three brothers and five sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Russell Brown Mortuary, with the Rev. John R. Servies in charge. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after noon Friday. - kbz
